Cute juvenile platypus discovered on a busy street in Dubbo central western NSW. Saved by a Field Officer from NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and released into the Macquarie River at Dubbo.
Sightings of the shy egg laying mammal have been common in the river
at Dubbo over the last 12 months, but this critter was several
kilometres away!
