Archaeological Checkpoint, Rekeiz Lemgassem

A Polisario checkpoint set up in 2008 at Rekeiz Lemgassem to control access to the important rock art sites, which have been subject to serious vandalism from local people, foreign visitors and staff from the UN peacekeeping mission in Western Sahara (MINURSO).
