Yosemite Falls @ Yosemite National Park
Yosemite Falls is the tallest waterfall in north America and the 5th tallest in the world. To give you an idea, the top of the 3 falls is as tall as the Sears Tower in Chicago.
To get an idea of the layout of the 3 falls which make up Yosemite Falls, you can see it from Glacier Point or by a strenuous hike up to the top of the 3 falls.
For most people, a view from the valley floor is majestic enough. In full flow in the spring, Yosemite Falls can be enjoyed from most parts of the valley floor and Yosemite village.
The walkway to the base of the Lower Falls has been beautifully and sympathetically developed in the last few years with a walkway leading in from the main road. It's a gentle incline to get a view of the base of the Lower Falls.
Yosemite Falls is the best non-hiking view you will get of a waterfall in Yosemite National Park..
