This January 2014, we were one of the first foreigners to visit the new Masik Pass Ski Resort, and the new Masikryong Hotel near Wonsan, DPRK (North Korea). With 4 operational chair lifts, a peak of 1342 meters above sea level, this expansive 1412 hectares is sure to provide you with a North Korea ski adventure you'll never forget. There are 3 first aid and patrol stations and 9 slopes from beginner to expert levels. Average snowfall is about 70 cm per year. Max angle of any given slope is 39.8 degrees.
