Rope Fraying like Collagen

Rope Fraying like Collagen by Northcoast Footcare.
To better illustrate what happens during an injury to a ligament or fascia, such as the plantar fascia in a conditions like plantar fasciitis, think of the arrangement of collagen fibers like tightly woven ropes adjacent to each other. When the force applied to the rope exceeds the strength of the structure, the rope splits and frays.
