Not te best focus but i still love it anyway knowing it's a crop from two much larger images. Somehow i am in love with the process in blue and colder tones,sort of soft,pale and quite clear,let's see how long it lasts.

We all come to those times when life hits you hard on the head and you realise ‘this is my last chance, this is now or never’ and that has been happening to me this past days and all just because the second semester of college is starting and I know that this time around I want and have to live up to my expectation, exceed my goals and cross the line of my limits because I know I need this, both academically and psychologically as I have the ultimate need of being better than what I have been so far and exceed my own expectations, I want to be the best or among the best, always has been this way, it’s a hard problem for a perfectionist but I know that all the work pays off in the end.

It’s Carnival day, and I am stuck at home for too many reasons but still this doesn’t seem to bother me as much as it used to did and somehow I feel like this is what it feels like to grow up and become an adult. You don’t mind skipping the fun and the things you used to love and you don’t mind staying home with nothing to do. In all honesty I don’t like this, the being an adult part, I would much rather be a kid again, the smallest the better, but this is how life is supposed to be and I let it go on but will always fight for it to don’t change me entirely from who I used to be to whom life wants me to be, I just don’t fight today cause I am sort of sick and so I prefer the comfort of four walls and my bed. Still I hold on the memories of a happy childhood and this is what it’s all about. Princesses, play pretends, afternoon of sun, good mood, pretty things, sometimes a blur but always present in our lives.

Maybe this one is more of a boy’s dream, but those who like me who love this type of music also know that there were plenty of phenomenal women in the history of rock and I guess that at one point of life or other we all want to be like rockstars, amazing, praised, up high and have all the fame, the fans, the good things that comes with that life (we never want the bad ones,ah?), so knowing it’s Carnival time and that we celebrate it over here, in Portugal, I decided to give this a go and ‘dress-up’, playing pretend and just because I am very much in love with doing this type of portraits, it’s my safe place at the moment.
