Her eyes were like olives stuffed with gleaming red pimentos ...

When I was editing this photo of my granddaughter, she peeked over my shoulder and said, "Grandma, it looks like my eyes are olives." Well, he he he hehe, it sure does. I couldn't pass that up! (PS She gave me her permission to post this.)

ha! Olive eyes? I've never heard that before. But she's right...that's what they looked like before you corrected them. Your granddaughter is so attractive. What's wrong with her finger? Nice close up of her....tACK sharp and i love her RED hat.

@red~star - She had an accident with her camping knife and severed most of the tendon in that finger. They sewed it back together, fortunately. At first she was in a major splint/cast to completely immobilize the hand, but they keep reducing the amount of restraint. By Thanksgiving (in the photo) it was down to a simple finger splint. It's even smaller now, and she's allowed to work on wiggling that finger.

It really is a cute photo of ol' olive eyes. From now on, you'll be Zoe and she'll be O-E. OK...it's 4AM, I deserve some latitude :-). Glad to see her finger's getting better.
