Olympic Games 2008: Bird's Nest Quite a fascinating sight. It's definitely large and in my opinion well designed, just in time for the games!
The Beijing National Stadium, also known as the National Stadium,[1] or the "Bird's Nest" for its architecture, is a stadium under construction on the Olympic Green in Beijing, China that is scheduled for completion in March, 2008. The stadium will host the main track and field competitions for the 2008 Summer Olympics, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
