Still cold
Text from the poem, which is the one I alluded to in the story:
I Peer through the Door,
to the World Outside;
Guarding from the Cold; yet shivering
--Still Cold.
Through the door I pass...Men of convictions
guarding the path
Striped garments, black and white,
huddle together...
throughout the night.
With the Dawn, beneath the Sun
the masses Stir, under the Gun.
Meandering freely, to and Fro,
within the Walls, the People Go.
