Cheers. It's fairly simple really.
The 'stamp' or 'brush' is hand drawn. Then imported as a GIF with transparency.
There are eight different 'branches' or 'legs' (The one coming out off the bottom is one of them.)
Each leg has a simple recursive structure, where by the scale, angle and position of the next element is affected.
Each leg reacts (mostly through rotation) to its own section of the FFT spectrum.
I'll be getting some videos online soon.
