Lion-fish are a growing problem in South Florida. These fish have no natural predators in the Atlantic ocean, can grow to over 15 inches in length and will eventually destroy the coral reef system in the Atlantic unless we do something about it.

These fish are beautiful to look at but if you touch the spines, they are poisonous. The good news is that they are edible (and very tasty) once the spines are cut off.

I set out to make a self portrait that was interesting yet not creepy. Taking self portraits can be much more complicated than I originally thought it to be.

This is my first real dabble in Photoshop. Here is my attempt at a Lomo-effect on some flowers in the back yard.
