      Are these the stables near the Javitz? I was once walking from the Javitz back to Grand Central, down one of the side streets, on a 95-degree summer day no less, when I "discovered" that that's where they keep the horses. I'll leave it unsaid how I "discovered" the presence of horses :-)

      I know the one you mean cybersooz -- I think that is where the carriage horses from Central Park hang out. This one is up in the west 80's and is where you go if you want a horse to ride on the bridle paths in Central Park.
