Punjabi University, Patiala offers me a memento after my keynote address and my talk on digital sound-theory: "Moving from Noise to a Fundamental Understanding of Sound in the 21st Century" at RAFIT 2009: the third national conference on Recent Advances & Future trends in Information Technology, organized by the computer science dept. from 9 to 10 april 2009.

Campfire has won a few awards and recognitions for its high-quality illustrations, narrative, and production standards. The folks behind it spent a few minutes chatting with me and recommending books. They've tried to enter the tougher Indic language graphic-novel and comics market as well. That's my reflection there, standing in front of this screen that overlays a comic nose and a pair of specs over my face and posts the photo automagically into facebook. Neat, but er... I wouldn't be wanting to log into my facebook account from a pubic terminal somewhere.

The humour just got me on this one.
