"No pepernoten in September!"
Pepernoten, or Pfeffernüsse, are tradionally eaten on Sain Nicholas' day, December 5th.
Each year though, these tasty little cookie-like treats appear earlier in the stores than the previous year. This year I think they arrived 4 months early.
