Yes, I get several. One from our state daily paper, one from our local regional paper, and then I usually hustle Alex into schlepping out for 2 or 3 more copies of the regional paper, because it's only 25 cents.

You have a regional paper that only costs 25 cents and gives out coupons like these? No wonder you're saving so much money! We have the Lansing State Journal, which is $1.50 on Sunday. Our Township paper doesn't have coupons.

Here's a hint for you - contact your favorite manufacturers... there are contact numbers on the boxes and bottles of every product you buy. They always want to hear about customer feedback, and if you give them your address, they will send to you the BEST coupons! Including lots of free stuff.... You could also get lots of product samples, sometimes before they're available generally - in exchange for your opinion!

I KNOW--I have NEVER done that! Can you believe it? And if I could influence grocery marketing in any way, it would be for more promotions for fresh, whole food items (which, I know, are more expensive to supply than packaged stuff, so it's logical they cost more). Probably what is offered in my area has to do with what sells, too...which would explain the regular discounts on snack cakes. I love Arkansas, but we're a fat state.

I should be sending Kashi love letters daily.
