read this book

This has been on my list forever, and WOW, it's really something. Must read everything Michael Pollan has written now.

Read "Second Nature." Definitely on my top 20 list and my fave garden book ever. I am talking about it in a presentation I am giving next week. I talk about it in ever presentation for that matter.

That's on our bookshelf! My husband loved it, and it's on my stack of 'must read'. He really makes you think about what you are eating in a whole new light. He's got a new one just released "In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto". Great reading!!

I found this one a harder read than his others, and am still working on it. My personal fave is A Place of My Own, about building a little writing space/office for himself. Architecture, nature, meta discussions about writing... delicious!

These Days in French Life says:

Its an awesome book!

But it was hard to get past page 276 for me. the first part was so GOOD! So freaking awesome, then it ended kind of short to me. I look forward to reading his next one to see if he answers any of the questions left hanging.

I bought this food recently and started reading it in the mall. I was really into it, but already in the middle of three other books. It's now waiting patiently on my cramped To-Be-Read shelf. Guess I'll have to pull it down and get back into it.
