Grilled Cheese of Supreme Awesomeness

Grilled Cheese of Supreme Awesomeness by ninjapoodles.
Using slices of Beer & Cheese bread, load up thick sandwiches with sharp cheddar, smoked provolone, mozzarella, and a dusting of garlic powder. Grill as usual for grilled cheese, but if you're using very thick slices, you might want to give each sandwich a 15-20 second "boost" in the microwave before grilling, to ensure that all the cheese gets melted.

I am still recovering. Alex ate two of these bad boys, so he may be dead before we can get to bowling. Dead from deliciousness.

My favorite sandwich!!! There is a deli down from the clinic that makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches and they deliver.

Umm, yeah, guess it looks awesome because it's of "supreme awesomeness" - sometimes it takes me a minute. anyway, would love to include this "recipe" in our cookbook - let me know when you get a chance. btw - i'm new to flikr, so pardon me if i've faux pa'ed ;)

missy, feel free, but the recipe for the bread is from Bernard Clayton's New Book of Breads (or some title like that), so I'm not sure how you'd handle that part. But certainly feel free to use anything of mine!
