the wrong way (2 of 2)

Notice the order here, compared to the pumps.
the wrong way (2 of 2) by ninjapoodles.
Gas pumps at which the "premium" and "regular" pumps have been switched, which can't be anything but an attempt to get people to carelessly/accidentally select the pricier fuel. This is a huge pet peeve of mine, and I seem to have been seeing it more since gas prices went up last year.

Ha! I think like SUCH an Oregonian! I sat there and looked at this, and thought "So? I just ask for regular."

Then I realized that the rest of the country have to actually pump their OWN gas.....

Even the "price per gallon boxes" are in the usual order. This has to be a conspiracy. Of course, the gas companies will do anything to make the consumer pay more for gas.

Hmm.. I've never noticed this; I'll have to watch out for it. Although my car requires premium fuel, and I'd be upset if I accidentally put 87 in instead.

Sorry I am dumbstruck by your "cheap" gas. I filled up for $3.05 today. The cheap kind. Pumped myself.

It's a dime cheaper at the joints by the freeway, too. It's still $50 for less than 20 gallons of gas, which sucks.

huh, I've noticed this too recently, seems like just in the last few weeks. They're also messing with the location of the diesel pump in some locations, so watch out for that too. Someone I'm related to recently filled up a regular car with diesel b/c of weird pump placement (and inattention) and had to fork out big cash for the fix.
