Ignoring the technical [7 more after the jump]

Photography is very focused on the technical- choosing the right aperture, lens, getting the focus tack sharp, the colours clean, the subject isolated. [7 more after the jump]

But, that doesn't really matter at the end of the day. You need to be able to convey emotion, a feeling in a shot, and that's something that I'm really not that good at, yet. But, I've been trying to throw the technical stuff out the window, and experimenting with my gut instinct...

Results in a random, 6 day stay in the eternal city. Planned in 1-hour. The internet is a lifesaver. Diptych is a shot of a tree on Palatine Hill, the right is the ever famous Flavian Amphitheater.
