Australia Day. Weather: beautiful. The little beach town of Lorne were swarmed with holiday makers. Many accomodations have 'No Vacancy' sign displayed. As I was leaving, a rescue guard was running down the beach, then another, then more... one ran back holding a little boy in his hands with a distressed parent running alongside of him. The onlookers were wondering what had happened. An ambulance arrived not long after. I don't know how the little boy fared. I really hope he survived and everything was OK.

Please, NEVER take your eyes off the little ones around the water.

I've been to cities that never close down,
From New York to Rio and old London town,
But no matter how far or how wide I roam,
