Lovely. The effect results from each of the crescents being actual images of the eclipse, projected via the pinhole effect of small gaps between leaves. Pinhole imaging

It was not an difficult picture, but these effect is only avaible when on an eclipse.
What you see is the form of the sun when the moon was passing in front of it, then the shadow of the moon is reflected through the leaves of the trees
