Day off full of Fleet Foxes and trying to read while the Rico cat takes 20 minutes at a time to situate himself on my lap. If it's ever not ugly outside I will stop taking pictures of myself. Until then, NEVER!

Instagram-esque picture of a fox we saw tonight. Casey almost broke Miklos' arm off in the car trying to jump out the window at this guy. She actually sounded vicious and scary. It was very distracting! Do you think we can train the hunter out of her?

Even though I'm [my age], sometimes I just can't resist a good t-shirt.

Was trying to get a shot of my new dinosaur t-shirt... happened to look into the lens as I mis-fired. I should use this spooky expression more often I think. The shot was overexposed and weird from the start so I made it black and white for kicks. Worked out kind of old horror film-like.

Isn't it weird that the person we see in the mirror is the horizontal flip of what everyone else sees? (No, stupid, that's what 'mirror-image' means! Anyway.) When I flipped this picture to the view everyone else would have of me, I felt mangled, weird-looking compared to what I see every day. People regularly tell me I resemble Maggie Gyllenhaal. Until I started flipping these crappy mirror shots horizontally, I never quite got it. I see a much different person in the mirror... same details and everything, just a horizontal flip away from Too Weird.

Anyway, that's my observation for the day. That, and I like pink and blue together.
