Up Aasgard

The beginning the "trail" up Aasgard Pass. There is a stand of Larch halfway up. The snow in this lower section made the going a bit easier as its usually very loose gravel and scree. The higher we climbed in the pass the deeper the snow got. 2 inches, then 4 then 6 and then a foot. In places the snow had drifted and was hard and in others at times you sink to your mid thigh. Following the route of cairns was possible but required attention as some were covered in snow. It took us 3 hours and 16 minutes to get to the top.
