One of three new images from Myanmar before heading back to Beijing tomorrow. Ngapali Beach sits on the Bay of Bengal at the souther end of Myanmar. The beach is lovely and scattered south of where we stayed were a series of fishing villages. Migrant workers from near the Bangladesh border come up to fish for 6 months of the year. Their boats were colorful and bright in the morning light.

One of three new images from Myanmar before heading back to Beijing tomorrow. Inle (Inlay) Lake is amazing lake in central Myanmar. There is no real edge to the lake, it bleeds everywhere across the land with canals, reeds, marshes and water, water, water. The villages have no streets only waterways and the people don't walk they paddle everywhere. These women were padding down one of the "streets" in the village.

One of three new images from Myanmar before heading back to Beijing tomorrow. My most favorite image from our time in Bagan. The top of a pagoda covered in gold and red flecked paint glowing absolutely golden in the evening sun. We climbed up here for one of our three sunsets; my favorite by far. The light was amazing.

The spires of the 1000s of Stupa at Shewedagon in the setting sky.

The largest stupa in Myanmar, 2600 years old. Said to house the hairs of one of the Bhuddas. Covered in real gold and diamonds. Amazing, awestruck beauty.
