This is one of the Buddha at Shwesandaw up close it appears to frown and as you walk back the frown turns into a smile. One of my favorite Buddha images.

This young girl was outside the Ananda Temple. Her and her group were fascinated by our children. We in turn wondered at her age. I'll you make a guess, but I'll bet you get it wrong.

Outside the Andanda Temple. There are over 4000 listed in the area, and while no where near that many large ones there are still way more than you can visit in a few days and after awhile with all the names in a foreign language you start to loose track.

Sofi was so excited to find sugar cane. It wasn't peeled though so she borrowed a knife from our guide and whittled away at it outside the Ananda temple.
