pretty lat/long

not much time tonight. long day at work, and my mister is pretty damn sick. i think it could be the swine flu :( i am keeping a very close eye on him. luckily he has his own private nurse ;)

today's random fact: so, i walked out to my porch to look for packages with my camera in hand. i plugged in some lights outside and decided to snap a few photos. this woman is walking by (we live in a small downtown with lots of foot traffic). she hollers over my fence, "what the f*&k are you taking pictures of?" i look up and say, "my f*%king porch, do you mind?" she totally ran off looking scared. i started laughing my ass off. i guess i was intimidating...

the holidays are so insanely, crazy busy, huh?. work, shop, bake, wrap, bed. rinse and repeat. i did manage to get the tree decorated, though. and it is full of major bokey ;)

today's random fact: i am a total scrooge. not a big fan of the holidays. this all sort of melts away when the tree is up. i cannot help but smile when there is a christmas tree around.

stop and smell the roses

this is the last of my much needed four day weekend. i ran around like a chicken with my head cut off, but i managed to get pretty much the last of my christmas shopping done. i have a few little odds and ends, but all in all, a very productive day ;)

today's random fact: i had gone to the container store to get all the wrapping paper and stuff i needed when i decided to stop on the way back to the car to take this shot. a security guard approached me and asked me what i was photographing. i showed him my screen, he looked at me like i had lost my mind, and drove off shaking his head. thank god i didn't do a bench monday shot there.
