This was taken at the Vaillancourt Fountain, by Armand Vaillancourt. Built in 1971.

This sculpture sits between the Ferry Building and the end of Market Street in SF, and it is usually filled with water during the day. I know this is far from my usual work, but I seem to be drifting farther and farther away from what I am used to shooting...I think it's just a phase I am going through, due to the fact that I am forced to shoot the majority of my projects at night for this semester.

Flickr, why must you over sharpen everything?

24/52 Weeks.

This is not to be interpreted sexually in any way. I was hesitant to upload this image because of the stigmatism the nude form has in our culture, so I may delete it later. Anyways this is from my nude photography assignment for my lighting and portrait class. I may or may not post more on my flickr and blog, but the rest can be viewed here. Again, they are not to be viewed with sexual intention, thank you!

Shooting nudes is something that I am just starting to explore, but am still very nervous about. But since I've come to this school, my thoughts and preconceptions about nude photography has changed completely. The naked body is a beautiful thing, and shouldn't have such a negative connotation in our society..I mean we all have one! I absolutely love fine art nude photography, and other nude art. Hopefully I will become more confident in this area in the future.
