Paying attention to detail

Another shot of the some of the cash we raised at the Mutant Variety Show, but larger denominations than the previous shot.

Oh, damn - I just realized that this is my thousandth photo that I've posted to Flickr! I had this vision of doing something fancy or special with that shot, but I gapped it and just posted whatever I worked on last night. In the grand scheme of things, this isn't quite the subject matter I would have chosen (esp. since neither Flickr or photography is a money thing for me), but I'm too busy to care too much :-).

Anyway, huge thanks to the folks at Flickr for giving us such a wonderful enabling technology, and a HUGE thanks to all my friends and companions here who have been so supportive and generous with their comments. This experience has both reinvigorated my interest in photography, and totally changed the way I think about it, and I'm deeply grateful.
