    I took a bunch of shots of the cash we raised at Thursday's concert, since I don't often have over $300 in cash lying around the house :-).

      Sadly our bills (I have photos of them as well) are dreadfully boring. Everyone else gets pretty colors and braille dots, and we get green, green, green... Our coins are OK, although I wish we had large denomination coins in widespread circulation. The £2 coin in Britain is worth more than 10 times the U.S. quarter, which means that to carry any interesting amount of money in change here requires a wheelbarrow or a donkey.

      Like my grandfather who apparently (family saga!) after WW1 inflation had to literaly take his wages home in a wheelbarrow..
