I'm told they're pretty easy to make. His materials were just left over foil from his science fair project (looking at the effect of different wrappings in combatting freezer burn). I think there are some subtleties in the folding (how do you ge that funky bump in the back?), but nothing that can't be mastered with practice :-) !
