Washing up

When I was taking the photos of the veggies I became attracted to the reflections in the washing up.

I really like the star on the handle of the mug to the left. That makes the shot for me, sort of a reminder to find the magnificant in the mundane.

Thanks. I took a several shots with different points of focus, and star was a key part of the decision to choose this one.

What's depressing, though, is that it's a Bratz mug :-). (Actually, it's probably my favorite of the nth-hand mugs we inherited when we got here. Using it seems wonderfully transgressive.)

Infinite distractions ... There is never any reason to wash up, actually, until the fat is congeales on the surface. Then it is not so nice to photograph.
