Usual mess shuffled off to another room! :)

SB-28, 1/2 power, 24mm zoom, fired by PW through translucent umbrella.

White tile board cut in half and joined with door hinges to create a cutter.

Elinchrom D-lite 4, 5/6th power, fired by PW into small softbox (behind cutter).

White tile board for the floor.

White seamless paper background.

SB-28, 1/2 power, 24mm zoom, fired by PW through translucent umbrella.

Sunpak 383 with cardboard grid for hair light, fired by PW and held in place by Ly! :)

Lighting Information:

This is the second part of a photo shoot we did for Keoula's MBFF dress range. You can see part one here. We again went with the Zack Arias white background setup, but this time I added umbrellas over the two front SB-28's to try and get a even spread on the floor lights. This did the trick nicely and led to a lot less editing of the photos afterwards.

We again used Tim for the hair and makeup and he did his usual outstanding job. We also had the assistance of Ly on hair light duty and Tina on posing and posture with Keoula taking care of the dresses naturally.

For a few of the shots I experimented with the two back D-lite 4's switched off to get a nice grey background. I also grabbed a few portrait shots for Tim to add to his portfolio and finished off with a ring light portrait that I will post later.

All in all, a fun days shooting! :)

Hi Jeff, I didn't have any problems with flare. I was standing a fair way back from the the set and I had a lens hood on as well.

Hi Marcio, On the portraits and half body shots the back ground was (mostly) pure white. On the full length body shots, I did have to do some editing to get the background back to pure white. :)
