Week 34 - Rudolph?!
Week 34/52 -
*Hit "L" to make it big!*
Week 34 is just one shot in a series I did with my dog Cali. She was a very cooperative model! Another one of these shots went out on our Christmas cards to friends and family. Its hilarious and she absolutely rocks! Good girl Cali and nice work Ashley for holding the softbox in various positions to keep Cali in the right light! So next week when you hear some clatter on your roof, give a lookout for the Calster. She'll be helping the big guy deliver presents! hahaha

Objective: (Jeremy speak)
This was a very simple setup. However, when dealing with a dog who is
wearing antlers and some bead rope stuff that your wife put on her,
not exactly that easy! But Cali hung tough for us for a few shots. It
was really all about timing, where she was going to move and if Ashley
could keep the softbox in the right spot for the light. I used grid, I
have talked about this before, so I could try and keep some light off
the tree to let the Christmas lights shine from behind to give off
good bokeh.
I used a low aperture (2.8) so I could make the Christmas tree lights go blurry. It was not easy being on the floor shooting towards her while trying to keep her still enough for the shot and light. Good girl!
