We had a great escape to the country, visiting friends on their farm at Dry Plain up on the Monaro, between Cooma and Adaminaby. What a fantastic retreat and a great weekend shared amongst family and friends.
On the last night, after a perfect day, we had a totally cloudless sky with stars stretching from horizon to horizon. Just right to take the camera out into the paddocks and let it record the night sky. After a while our friends said they would be heading home which would take them along the road just to the left of the tree's. Hoping not to get too much headlights on the tree I asked if they would be so kind as to leave the lights off when they drove past this part. Of course they said, no problem. When the exposure was finally finished I was amazed to see the tail lights of the truck had been recorded as they drove past, so it just had to be "Ged's leaving".
