Cookie Monster Cupcake 1

We made some cupcakes shaped like cookie monsters after seeing this on the `cakewrecks' blog :) Thanks very much to Abby for doing all of the difficult cupcake making... mine were much uglier...

Strobist: SB600 with shoot through umbrella high left, silver reflector near right.

My first photo to make explore... How exciting... I think it made #149.

I should reference the original inspiration for this cupcake - cakewrecks.blogspot.com/2008/10/like-this-not-like-that.html. But I'd like to think this one doesn't look like he's choking!

- The eyes are large white chocolate buttons with small dark chocolate buttons stuck to them by melting the back on a hot knife.

vampwix - I don't really have any instructions sorry. It's a normal vanilla cupcake with blue icing, and coconut dyed blue, and the cookie is store-bought. I guess the trick is just in how well you assemble it... or how well abby did it in this case. Good luck!
