Yea try it out, don't forget the parsley in the ground meat (becomes softer) and to salt (2-3hours) and press (remove water) the eggplants before frying them...

so for the ground meat 'balls' mix the usual spices with chopped parsley, green pepper, and the ground beef.

Salty sun bath for sliced and artistically peeled eggplants... couple hours of resting and then squeeze them from their water, deep fry them. Dry them from extra oil. Place them just like they are in the picture, don't forget to remove the skin from the tomatoes, that done, put in the oven , but just before add less than half a cup of water, add more later if you see that the meet is not ready and/or it's getting too dry.
