The Kittery Port Authority and Kittery harbormaster mission is to provide marine law enforcement, rescue and education services to boaters within the tidal waters of Kittery Maine. We are dedicated to delivering these services to the boating community with courtesy and professionalism. Our goal is to foster a safe boating environment by maintaining a high state of readiness and cultivating partnerships with fisherman, recreational boat owners, marina owners, and other marine law enforcement agencies on the Piscataqua River in order to make Kittery the safest boating waters in all of Maine.
Pepperrell Cove at Kittery Point, Maine is a beautiful, well protected harbor with easy access from the ocean. It offers transient moorings, public restroom (no shower), superb scenery, restaurants, a post office, a supermarket right at the town dock, and all the friendliness that Maine has to offer.
From the ocean, the entrance to the Piscataqua River is well marked by lighthouses on either side of the harbor, and land markers to guide you directly into Pepperrell Cove. If no moorings are available, there is a large anchorage area with a good holding bottom and plenty of swinging room just off of Fort McClary. Be sure to visit us soon.

My Great Grandfather "Carlson" was the Harbor master and lived in the house next to Frisbee's Wharf. I am painting a picture of the afore mentioned home for my mom, because she grew up in that house. Do you have any photos that were taken from the water, directed back at that house and Frisbee's wharf? I will give you a copy of the painting as well.
