This neat addition has appeared on the Station Street wall of Cydonia next to the troublesome mural.
The problem of course is that demonstrators are not objecting to free speech per se, but to the sentiment that that speech is expressing.
The fundamental problem seems to be stupidity rather than racism. Sergio Redegalli chose to paint in a district where he was highly unlikely to get much support for his views and almost certain to irritate people.
