The rusty and faded metal sign for a shuttered kitchen appliances store in Schluechtern. This is one of the first times I've actually seen a rusty old sign here (Germans are very clean, modern and efficient and would usually have painted or replaced it long before it became rusty.) But I used to love seeing signs like this in the States!

Where to? (Wohin wollen Sie fahren?)

One of the greatest things about Europe is the seemingly never ending list of exciting destinations, all which can be reached quickly by train. There's just nothing like it in the USA. I absolutely love standing in a station and wondering which of these places I would want to visit next. Although usually practicality prevails and I just go where I have to go...

Bonus: can anyone guess the train station from the list of destinations?
