I've had this weird liking to taking photos towards the sky lately. I guess it's because everything on campus is concrete and brick and water fountains and hallways and lockers. It does get boring after a while always having the same elements in the background.
It was just my luck that they were having 10th grade assemblies the day that I was out here doing this. Usually, there aren't a bunch of people walking around. But they were constantly coming in and out of the classrooms and wouldn't stop staring. I probably did look a little funky, though:
1) I was standing behind and between two tree-like bushes.
2) The tripod was stretched to its farthest length.
3) I was bent over really awkwardly looking through the viewfinder.
4) My right hand was out stretching towards, well, NOTHING.
5) My left hand was on the lens while I manually focused on my right.
Really, I don't care. I even laid down on the nasty locker hallway floor once (where everyone passes through the double doors) just to get a photo. Grossamundo!
