Hello my dears.

I don't know if you've missed me, maybe not, but I've missed you terribly.

This picture is old, it's not from the New Year at all. I did manage to take a few pictures on NYE but have been too busy traveling since then to load them onto my computer.

True to form, I spent the first four hours of 2011 making out with a boy I met approximately 24 hours earlier, and who afterward promised to wait for me until I got back from the Peace Corps. I reminded him that that was still a year and a half away. He probably didn't know that when he made his promise, since we didn't really know each other at all. We do now, though. We are facebook friends. He said he would send me letters in the mail.

Oh, dear.

Anyway.

I hope your New Year's was just as glorious as mine was, and that someone unlikely promised to love you for an improbable period of time.
