Empedocles
A couple of weeks ago I went on a 2 day comics workshop with Scott McCloud. It was excellent, and fun too.
The final exercise was to pick an illustration from a Hawaiian alphabet book out of a hat, and then to draw, in 90 minutes, a comic strip based on the image. I ended up with 'V - Volcano'.
Here's what I drew (I re-drew and coloured it later).
