Unless there's an event of some kind, downtown Los Angeles is a bit of a ghost-town at night. For some reason, this 100 yards of Fourth street always looks festive. I never see anyone here but the lights facilitate this facade for whomever is trying to impress. Skid-Row (not the 80s hair band) is only 2 blocks away and it's far from festive.
