Out Of The Blue

Out Of The Blue

I have another view of this train in our "Blink Again" primary colour challenge that I captured with the old G9 P&S back in 2008. Having just installed Windows 7 and CS5.5 I thought I would put photoshop under pressure and try to crash it. My old CS3 and vista setup this was easily accomplished. To my surprise my new setup never battered an eyelid. The efficiency meter never dropped below 95%. This is 7 photos processed in HDR and eight different layers of varying adjustments. I was going to throw the work away but when the boss said it looked okay I changed my mind and I am putting it out there. Not my usual style. You might say "Out Of The Blue" in more ways than one.

For those of you interested in some fun....please join in the current contest "Primary Colours" (still 23 spots left).

A Sea Of Agapanthus

A Sea Of Agapanthus

A very small section of our garden. With a few rows of agapanthus used as borders the eyes are mesmerized by a sea of purple flowers..

This is a shot taken through tinted glass on a bus we were travelling on while driving across the open plains at the Werribee Zoo.

Could I ask for feedback on my frames please. Yes or No

The Wasp

The Wasp

While we were at The Werribee Zoo wandering around Brett and I stumbled on this caped crusader.
He was trying to drag this spider over the main pathway. Everytime someone walked over him he flew around but always returned to his meal. He eventually managed to make it all the way across the path and disappeared into the long grass. I have not worked out the true i.d yet. Feel free to help me with the correct name.

Thanks David for the id.
