neetaphoto's photostream

Faroo tagged me. I said I would play the game but I needed some time. She said “Take all the time you need but please do play! Apnake niye ami onek confusion e achi.” So nice of her. Well I am here now to play it.

1. Recently I learnt from Aftab that no photo stream is complete without a self-shadow picture. Since I had only one shot to post in my photostream I wanted to post a self-shadow picture this time. But, I do not have one and could not have time to take one. So I took some help from a super power. Is my photostream now complete or incomplete?
2. I cancelled my pro account at the beginning of this year. I reached the flickr quota of 200 long ago. So I deleted most of my posts. A little over 200 are left. Because of this current post one shot went into hiding. I do not want to send any other photo from my photostream to go into the exile. So this post is my final one in my photostream.
3. It has been a hard decision to call this photograph as my final one because of such overwhelming affections of some of my flickr friends. Sorry, Sajan. Sorry Hamim bhai. Sorry everybody who will find it painful.
4. I am not going away though. I will continue visiting your photostreams. It’s very infrequent now. I am hoping to visit more frequently after a month or so.
5. On demand and inspiration from a few people important in my life – non-flickr and flickr, I have started a project to showcase my recent writings. It’s a long way to go. I am pretty busy with it now. I welcome you to visit www.eklohoma.com
6. I wanted to add a message board to the site. I found that the option available is to add a blog page. I have added a ‘blog’ page to it. I have no idea how to use it successfully. Any help for this old person? If I do not find the right way to use it, I may delete the blog page after a week or so.

8. I was confused about why Faroo was confused about me. Then in a recent discussion over a photo from our superb magician of photography I got some ideas. In that discussion Faroo nicely presented some of my thoughts (how sweet! :) I am going to state them in the following 6 points.
9. I do not consider myself to be accountable to any Superior Entity.
10. I am as disciplined as I wish. I do not consider that I have to follow orders from any Superior Entity in my life to be disciplined.
11. I am not worried about any ultimate purpose in my life. I am taking it as easy as possible. However, my time is running out. I wish I could be more productive in my writing.
12. I do have fear of death. The fear is not because one has to answer to somebody after death. The fear is because it ends this beautiful life.
13. I like to be humble because I like it that way. No special reason.
14. I believe that many things in life happen as a coincidence. Many other things happen for reasons I do not know.
15. For some such unknown reasons I have received so much affection in life that I can not believe it because I am not an easy person at all.
16. Some say everything is predetermined. The person whom I considered as my Guru in my early days slowly turned from the opposite of this feeling to this one. I do not accept anything as predetermined whether it is really predetermined or not. I only do what I can and try to accept what I get.
17. Life is beautiful but my time is running out.

As I saw the super Moon yesterday with all her glows and glories.
I know it’s not even close to the beautiful shots of her
so commonly available in flickr or elsewhere.
And, that’s fine with me.

This is a shot taken from my car while driving through our neighborhood. I like to be on the road. I have a problem though. I tend to fall asleep on the wheels all on a sudden every now and then. So, I am always scared when I am driving, especially when on a long drive. But, I like to drive because I love to be on the road.

A road, a journey – is such a magnificent thing.
Somebody is at the starting point.
Somebody is going ahead.
Many of us despite of so many expected and unexpected obstacles choose to continue with their journeys again and again. Going ahead is our life, our existence.

My love and gratitude for some special friends of mine, Sajan, Amar, Aftab, and Mara. They make my journey a pleasant one when it becomes a hard one to carry on.
