Wouldn't the browser add the leading http:// to the URL once the page loaded?

Yes, it would add that to the address if this is a legit screengrab.

Haha. Pwnz0red. How hard can it be to remember to pay your hosting bills? Reminds me of when Microsoft forgot to reregister windowsupdate.com I think it was...

Right now, www.joe2006.com redirects to server1.myhostcamp.com/suspended.page/ which is probably why Tim rewrote the url.

Sling that mud, Lamont! It just proves everything Joe has said about you is true. Pathetic.

Give me thirty seconds in photoshop, and I can make it look like any website is offline for not paying its bill. This has to be THE most hackneyed bit of faking this election cycle. Totally, reprehensibly and laughably faked.

1. I don't have a preference between these candidates.
2. Unfortunately, this screenshot doesn't imply that the account wasn't paid. If it were hacked, many things could have been done that would result in the account being suspended. Notice it says billing/support. That means contact the people who control access to the site. Whether it was a billing problem, a web traffic jam, content changes, or malicious code, that is what would be displayed when the account was taken offline.
To call the accusations *scurrilous* is a bit premature and extreme; many politicians have supporters that will go to inappropriate lengths to express their views, this could have been accepted by Lamont as a possibility.

I actually captured the screen shot... you're right that the http:// should be there but the joe2006.com was actually a redirect, and not a mask so it came out as some jibberishy type of URL and no one would actually know where it came from..
