I'm loving the fact that I've changed a few peoples opinions about rats with my photos of Bug. Rats are such lovely animals, they're so misunderstood. I have had three rats all in all, and each one has been totally different. Bug thinks she's human, I'm sure of it. She acts like a baby and I treat her like mine. In my opinion, they're just as good pets as cats and dogs.

It is so true...my brother and sister in law have two rats and they are the sweetest, cutest things ever. So good with kids, so sweet & loving and adorable how they love each other too. Bug is definitely the emissary for ratkind. She is the cutest thing in the world! :)

I read the caption for this photo, and I wanted to let you know that after looking through all of your photos one day last year, I fell deeply in love with rats. Immediately I found out everything I could about them, and soon after I had two of my own. Thank you so much for introducing me to these wonderful creatures. Last Sunday I visited a friend and there I saw a rat for the first time - since there I'm in love with! Totally cute! She was so lovely and was far away from that I thought about it! And since I've seen bug and your new little rats..I'm lost ;-) By the way - you are very talented!
