And the award for the glibbest headline goes to....

...The Sun, for 'I feel clonely'.

I'm in the papers today... The Sun (UK's biggest paper) and the Metro (every commuter reads it, if not their own copy then over someone's shoulder).

But The Sun's headline competes with the comments left on the Sun article online which are glibber than glibness itself!... one person who I've never met appeared to know more about me than anyone, stating 'she's not very friendly in real life'. Hmm, is this the local traffic warden?

This does gives the impression that I think multiplicity is all my own great, amazing and unique idea.. argh! ;D

The wording of the Metro article, however, made me laugh even more!

'A British student who started taking inventive self-portraits because she couldn't afford models'...
'Natalie Dybisz hit on the idea of modelling in her own photos after friends refused to pose'...
...'Miss Dybisz - who works under the name of Miss Aniela - dreamed of becoming an actress or model since she was young. "But I was too shy and realised I was too short and probably too ugly", she added.'

Lol... fair to say there was some exaggeration of my words. All press is good press... isn't it..?

Back to answering my emails! 4000 hits on my site so far today.. even people who have searched 'Debesh' have managed to get through.

Well done. Great to be in print eh! I got a shot into the Guardian in March and got up early to buy two copies. The Sun's kind of a mixed blessing! The Metro! I'd love to get a shot into that. by the way, that is the most annoying and pointless way of displaying comments that the sun has going on there, never mind the responses...

interesting that the group promoting you played on the student angle, as although you were one when you created most of those images, you're not now (i assume, or are you continuing your studies?) so it seems odd to focus on that.

as for the sun online version of the article. it's like an eight year old's essay about snails copied in eight year old language from an encyclopaedia... like the task was to state five "facts" about you in under 100 words in language even a sun reader could understand :P

The cloning thing was always the most "commercial" thing you did. People were always asking how to do multiplicity shots in the Photoshop Support group, and your name came up a lot.

I'm really mega pleased at the exposure for you, but saddened by the comments left on the Sun article, as usual nothing interesting or challenging, just the usual lines of "If she wasn't so pretty...." "Anyone can clone..." etc. It irks me that so many people never see past that. Yes everyone can clone nowadays, but it takes talent to have a concept behind it, and it irritates me that the point has very much been lost on Sun readers. (probably why the majority stick to boobs and football).

And to whoever claimed to have met you...I think us FSPASGers will very much disagree on their opinion!

Careful with those tabloid papers, they are scum. All papers get virtually everything wrong all the time- this has been my experience and that of anyone I know who's been in a paper. They rarely even get the age right.
