Aniela from the mirrorTHIS SHADOW IMPROVEMENT IS THANKS TO alfredopinter !! http://www.flickr.com/photos/alfredopintor/
![]() I rather enjoyed the surreal fragmentary element to the last image, so decided to take it further, and this time have limbs coming out of the mirror, alluding more like the Duda Gracz painting.

The feel of this pictures is much more 'devotional' than previous clones, which I'm enjoying, and it also happily reminds of my (not-all-forgotten) Roman Catholic faith because of the Jesus-like ambience. This image isn't as full-on as the last, more like a spin-off, and I'm not completely ecstatic about some of the lighting especially round right-hand Aniela... Felt very depressed today (I hear _rebekka is, too, maybe it's a Flickr virus) over some lover-idiot, I'm supposed to be driving home to Yorkshire, so I won't be able to do as many pics over the next week. Warm rainy wishes to you all. View on black Commentsh o t a r u says:really cool idea

Rainy wishes too. I have to be honest, this isn't up there with my favourites. The harsh lines between the central Aniela's arm and left Aniela's body ... The lack of "place".... And yeah, the lighting isn't good on right-wing Aniela.
I think you should cancel the Yorkshire trip and spend the whole weekend eating chocolate digestives in bed.

Thinking positively - I like the facial expression on both foremost Anielas and I love the detail on Aniela Left's back and the muscle tone on her arm. Your hair looks great on all three figures. The position and pose of both Left and Right Aniela are very pleasing and I like the idea of the emergence of Centre.
It's just the hard 3D of the Centre arm that spoils it for me though the muscle detail in the arm itself is splendid.
Drive carefully and safe journey mate.

Thanks threejumps... i've tried to soften the harsh arm, but softening it too much will look unreal, because it the skin won't then show the divide that would be there in real life.
I am pleased with the positioning of the Anielas, I dont think it looks lie it has lack of place, i think if i can get the lighting better, i will be happier.
Thanks for the comments on the muscle tones etc. Do you think I should change the position of the outward arm?

Hi Aniela, looks great, I'm off to the top of a mountain for two weeks so I'm really going to miss your output.
Sorry to hear about your bum day. Its all fate though you know. It will all work out in the end.
Maybe it'll be sunnier up North.
Cheers
Rob
Miss Aniela
thanks Rob... have a good time on top of the mountain... thanks for your kind words x x

What about losing the arm altogether - tuck it inbetween the figures? Or if you really want the interaction - try it again with left arm around Aniela Right? I can discuss figure composition and placement, lighting and visual appeal etc but I know nothing about Photoshop mate - couldn't even tell you how to find it on the computer!
The muscle tone of Aniela Left's back reminds me of a photo I took years ago.
I'm sorry your feeling down in the dumps too - chin up mate.

because it the skin won't then show the divide that would be there in real life.
Use liquity to move the skin on the on the body below the arm and create 2 shadow's. A soft wider one and a darker very close to the arm.
Do think the Aniela in the back needs to be larger.

Very intersting photo. I like the overall tonality, especially.

Hair can be a real headache to do can't it?
My masking tips help? I see some edges look softer.

Slick stuff. If it was the only one you'd done I'd say it was wonderful, but actually I prefered the last effort - having the clones touch, and at different magnifications, is pushing PP further than it will go in my opinion.
The whole set's marvellous though - really outstanding. And it would still be good stuff if you looked like Arthur Mullard in drag (not AS good, but still good).

cooooooooooooool....luv it.
