At last! Thanks to my best friend Steve - the gadget you need to make Spaetzle (pronounced "shpetsler" - south German egg & flour noodles). You put a dollop of the dough into the well and rub it through the holes into fast-boiling water with the scraper. It works a treat. I've wanted to be able to make them for years. Yum.
