Mayan Spinach (Cnidoscolus chayamansa)

Mayan Spinach (Cnidoscolus chayamansa) by Museum of Life + Science.
Cnidoscolus chayamansa, the Mayan Spinach or Chaya, is native to the Yucatan Peninsula. The Mayan Spinach has white flowers borne on cyme-branched inflorescences. Its lobed leaves are cooked and eaten like spinach. However, if you want to cook this at home, make sure the leaves are properly cooked because raw leaves contain high levels of hydrocyanic acid.

Why is it the poisonous ones are always the most beautiful?! Same with frogs, snakes, etc.
